Welcome to Montana Leather Stamps © by Vollkommen Enterprises LLC!

This page contains a list of leather stamps that I have written the CNC code for and have previously listed on eBay.

These stamps are not in stock.
Placing an order from this Site represents a build request, therefore turn around time can be up to 2 weeks for small orders. More for larger ones.

Placing an order
Once I have received a paid order, I will respond with a predicted ship date.
If that is acceptable I will proceed to make your stamp.
If you want an expedited build and/or shipping; we can negotiate from there.

Shipping options
Normally, I ship via USPS flat rate pack or box, depending upon the size of the order.
At this time PayPal does not have the code for selection of either shipping or Will-Call. So, if you want to pick up your order direct from my mill room, just pay the shipping, and I will refund it. The other option would be to send me an email request of what you want and I will respond with a PayPal Invoice that does not include shipping. My email link is in this page's footer.

International Orders
Not at this time from this site. US Destinations only.
I can do it on eBay but not here (yet).
If you want it shipped internationally, ask me to build one and place it on eBay so that you can buy it using the eBay international shipping system.

Custom designs.
If I don't have a design you want listed here, send me your idea and we can negotiate. If you allow me to sell your design to others, there will not be a design fee. If you want an exclusive design sold to you only, then we will talk about design fees.

Watch my Facebook page for new designs as they come out.

***Hunting Season Delays***
Upland game bird season starts in Montana on 9/1 and elk season ends 11/31.
As I am a hunter, my response time will be a little slower than usual for those 3 months.
I can work on custom designs in the evenings while at hunting camp, and can cut them in the evenings when at home. I have Wi-Fi at hunting camp so we can communicate as usual, but a quick turnaround on an order will not be quite as quick. :o)

New!!!

Leather stamp descriptions containing "V3" (version 3) are leather stamps that use a swept extrusion technique to make the stamp even more robust.

Click for larter imageThe spline used to profile the swept extrusion (right) starts with a shallow angle at 70%Click for larter image of the stamp wall to prevent interference with the impression and then at the 50% point it flares out to a 45 degree angle for strength. the result is shown at left.

When testing the design, I put the stamp in a 1-ton arbor press and stood up and "leaned" on the press to try to make the stamp fail. To say the least, it did not fail. In addition, there was no interference with the impression made by the swept base and no track made by the outline of the stamp block (1.5" x 0.75" block)

If you want a stamp shown on this site made with this swept extrusion, let me know. if I haven't already done it, I will update the design to meet your request. Sometimes I'm like the cobbler running around with holes in his shoes when it comes to updating this site. :o)

About these Stamp Blocks:

Montana Animal Track Stamps:
I'm an avid hunter and I take images of unique tracks I come across wither I'm stalking them, or just tipped him over. Its part of my respect for the animal I'm hunting. I even retire a bullet cartridge once I have made a kill with it and never reload that cartridge again. Sort of a tribute to the spirit of the animal. These stamps I make are based upon reality and are part of the spirit of the animal. They are not a figment of my imagination.

What they are made out of:
Delrin Acetal Resin is considered the workhorse of plastics, Delrin Acetal resin combines moisture resistance and a slippery, wear-resistant surface with an ability to hold tight tolerances. Also known as Acetal homopolymer, it's often used for gears, bushings, impellers, and other parts that require High  strength and rigidity. You can hammer these blocks (I have used a 1lb Ball Peen hammer and not even left a mark) or put them in a press. They can take it.
